Have a Look at Some of The Places I Go.

Services

NY County Clerk

A good portion of my work is done here. Most New York City documents need to be authenticated here, so I’m on a first name basis with most of the people that work here. This is also where I can find Naturalization papers for someone who naturalized in NY County.

National Archives NYC

This is also one of the places I’m frequently at now that they have re-opened. I just need to schedule a visit a few days beforehand.

All NYC County Courthouses

County court houses throughout NYC have an enormous amount of documentation that could be valuable for your journey for dual citizenship. Some of the services I provide include name change searches, county clerk authentications, naturalization papers, certified copies of court orders.

NYC Municipal Archives

This is another location I usually go to 2-3 per week. Now that the NYS Dept. of State has started same day service for apostilles, your documents from here can be retrieved, authenticated, apostilled and put in the mail to you on the same day.

NY State Apostilles

As of January 2, 2024, they have started having same day apostille services for NY State documents. Happy Days Are Here Again.

NYC Churches

I’ve had a good amount of luck tracking down Baptism/Marriage Certificates issued by Churches throughout New York City.

Name Change Searches

This is also another service I provide. Located in the 5 counties of NYC, these logs can try to locate if your Great Grandfather Guiseppe legally changed his name to Joseph.
